KUALA LUMPUR - April 13, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VCI Global Limited (NASDAQ: VCIG) (“VCI Global”, or the “Company”) today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 1,280,000 shares of its ordinary shares at a price to the public of $4.00 per share for a total of $5,120,000 of gross proceeds to the Company (the "Offering"), before deducting underwriting discounts, commissions and other Offering expenses. In addition, VCI Global has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 192,000 of its ordinary shares at the public offering price of $4.00 per share, less the underwriting discounts and commissions, to cover over-allotments, if any.
The shares are expected to begin trading on The Nasdaq Capital Market today, April 13, 2023, under the ticker symbol "VCIG." The Offering is expected to close on April 17, 2023 subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
